A pair of original production drawings from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Fantasia (1940). Featuring the Chernabog and his demons from the Night on Bald Mountain segment, the drawings were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The matching drawings exemplify the layering technique used to add the visual special effects to the Chernabog. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" each, with images measuring 6"x5" and 4"x11.5", the production drawings are in very good condition with light edge wear and page wrinkling. One of the drawings is a photoshop composite of the two layers as they appeared in the film.
